Client Agreement

PEO Broker Service Level Agreement: Transparent Terms, Accountable Process

A structured evaluation process so you can confidently choose the right HR, payroll, insurance, PEO, or benefits solution — without wasted time or conflicting quotes.

Our Role

PEO Benefit Partners acts as your evaluation advisor, licensed broker, and process manager. We design, coordinate, and manage the review of service providers including PEOs, HR outsourcing firms, payroll companies, insurance carriers, ASO providers, and employee benefit platforms. We do not directly provide payroll, HR administration, insurance coverage, or employer-of-record services.

How the Process Works

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide requested company and employee information accurately
  • Review proposals within a reasonable timeframe (generally 5–7 business days)
  • Communicate questions and decision direction promptly
  • Coordinate provider communications through us during the evaluation

Our Responsibilities

  • Analyze your needs and structure a market strategy
  • Present curated options and explain tradeoffs
  • Assist negotiation and implementation coordination
  • Support escalation with the selected provider when appropriate
Timeline Note: If communication pauses for more than 14 days, underwriting and pricing may change and the evaluation may need to restart.

Market Coordination & Non-Circumvention

During the active evaluation period and for twelve (12) months following the conclusion of this engagement, the Client agrees not to independently solicit, contact, or negotiate with any service provider, PEO, carrier, or vendor introduced through this process without coordinating through PEO Benefit Partners, LLC. This includes direct engagement with provider sales teams, affiliated entities, or third-party referrals originating from our introductions.

This restriction protects both parties from duplicate quoting, underwriting conflicts, and inaccurate pricing. The Client retains full decision authority at all times — this provision governs the channel of communication, not the outcome.

Decision Authority

We provide comparative analysis and recommendations. Final selection decisions always remain yours. We advise — you decide.

Important Limitations

We are not a legal advisor, employer, insurer, or plan administrator. We cannot guarantee pricing, underwriting approval, coverage terms, or provider performance. All proposals depend on information supplied by the client and providers. Changes in data may change results.

Compensation & Liability

Compensation: We are compensated by service providers if you choose to engage one introduced through this process. You pay no direct fee for our services unless separately agreed in writing.

Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to direct damages arising from this engagement and does not include indirect or consequential losses.

Good-Faith Participation

Both parties agree to participate in the evaluation sincerely with the intent to reach a decision. If the process is used solely to collect competitive intelligence or pricing for unrelated negotiations, the engagement may be terminated.

By proceeding with the evaluation, both parties agree to operate under this service framework.

As an independent PEO broker, our entire value is in representation. We work for you — not for any specific PEO provider. This framework exists to make that relationship transparent and productive for both parties.
