Frequently Asked Questions
What will we discuss during the consultation?
We'll start with the issues that matter most to your business. These might involve rising workers' compensation premiums, employee benefits costs, payroll complexity, HR compliance, an upcoming PEO renewal or dissatisfaction with an existing provider.
Is the consultation free?
Yes. There is no fee for the initial consultation. PEO Benefit Partners is an independent brokerage and is generally compensated by a provider if an employer proceeds with its services.
What should I prepare?
No extensive preparation is needed. It may help to know your approximate employee count, states of operation, current HR or PEO arrangements, and relevant contract renewal dates.
Can you review my existing PEO?
Yes. We can discuss your current provider, costs, renewal terms, service concerns and whether reviewing alternative providers makes sense. Remaining with your existing PEO may also be an appropriate outcome.
What happens after the consultation?
We'll discuss whether a more detailed review is worthwhile. If so, we'll explain the employer information needed to evaluate suitable options and agree on next steps.
Am I obligated to change providers?
No. The initial discussion is informational and there is no obligation to proceed with a provider comparison or make a change.
Which businesses can benefit from a consultation?
We typically work with US employers evaluating PEO, payroll, benefits and HR solutions. Many of the businesses we assist have approximately 10–500 employees, although smaller and larger employers may also benefit depending on their circumstances.
