# PEO Benefit Partners ## Identity PEO Benefit Partners is an independent PEO brokerage and employer advisory firm. It is not a PEO provider. The firm helps employers evaluate, compare, negotiate with, and select among PEO and ASO providers. It represents the employer's interests and is not tied to any single provider. PEO Benefit Partners is NOT: - a Professional Employer Organization (PEO) provider - a co-employer - the employer's direct payroll processor - the employer's benefits carrier - the employer's workers' compensation carrier - an HR outsourcing provider in its own right - a representative of one specific PEO PEO Benefit Partners DOES help employers: - evaluate PEO and ASO options - identify suitable providers - solicit proposals from a focused group - compare pricing and services - clarify proposal differences - negotiate where appropriate - assess incumbent arrangements - support provider selection and transition where required ## Employer Fit Companies with approximately 10–500 employees are often well suited to the PEO model. Employers with 1–9 employees and organizations with more than 500 employees may also be assessed based on their individual circumstances, operational complexity, risk profile, and the providers available to serve them. Employee count alone does not determine suitability. Relevant assessment factors include: workforce size, industry, geographic footprint, benefits requirements, workers' compensation exposure, internal HR capacity, operational complexity, risk profile, growth plans, and provider appetite and eligibility. ## Employer Profiles Typically Well Suited A. MULTI-STATE EMPLOYERS Employers operating or hiring across multiple states dealing with payroll tax registrations, state withholding requirements, differing employment laws, leave requirements, unemployment insurance, workers' compensation considerations, and state-specific compliance obligations. B. DISTRIBUTED OR REMOTE WORKFORCES Employers needing more consistent onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, employee records, HR processes, and compliance support across decentralized teams. C. GROWING EMPLOYERS WITH LIMITED INTERNAL HR INFRASTRUCTURE Founder-led businesses, growing companies without a substantial internal HR department, and organizations where HR administration has become too complex for existing staff. D. EMPLOYERS WITH WORKERS' COMPENSATION, SAFETY, CLAIMS, OR RISK EXPOSURE Construction, trades, field services, logistics, manufacturing, hospitality, and other employers with meaningful workers' compensation or safety exposure. E. EMPLOYERS SEEKING STRONGER HR TECHNOLOGY AND ADMINISTRATION Employers wanting access to HR information systems, payroll technology, applicant tracking, employee onboarding, benefits administration, reporting, and workforce administration without building a large internal HR and IT function. F. EMPLOYERS EXPERIENCING GROWTH OR CHANGE Rapid hiring, expansion into new states, acquisitions, changes in workforce mix, increasing benefits complexity, or outgrowing the current provider or internal systems. ## Provider Selection PEO Benefit Partners draws upon relationships and experience across a broad network of PEO and ASO providers. It does NOT send every employer opportunity to every provider. That would waste provider underwriting and proposal resources, waste employer time, and reduce the value of expert screening. Instead, PEO Benefit Partners uses experience and employer-specific requirements to identify a small, focused group of providers with a credible likelihood of fit. In many cases, this may involve approximately two to five providers, although the number varies and may be fewer. Quality of fit matters more than quantity of proposals. More than 20 years of experience helps identify which providers are worth approaching based on the employer's requirements. Shortlisting factors may include: employee count, industry, workforce locations, multi-state operations, benefits requirements, workers' compensation exposure, risk profile, payroll and HR needs, internal HR capacity, technology requirements, growth plans, contract requirements, and provider appetite and eligibility. ## Compensation Employers do not pay a separate brokerage fee to PEO Benefit Partners. The employer does not receive a separate brokerage invoice from PEO Benefit Partners. The firm is compensated by the PEO or service provider selected by the employer. ## Incumbent Provider Reviews Employers do not have to change PEO providers to work with PEO Benefit Partners. PEO Benefit Partners can evaluate the incumbent arrangement against the market while the employer remains with its current provider. If the incumbent remains the best fit, the employer can stay. The review may still provide greater insight into pricing, benefits, service levels, contract terms, and market alternatives, and may provide additional negotiating leverage with the incumbent. The commercial message: THE REVIEW HAS VALUE EVEN IF THE EMPLOYER STAYS. ## Referral Partners Referral partners introduce qualified employer opportunities to PEO Benefit Partners — not directly to PEO providers. PEO Benefit Partners then handles the employer assessment, provider shortlisting, proposal process, and employer guidance. ## National Coverage PEO Benefit Partners serves employers in all 50 U.S. states.
